To demonstrate the love of Jesus by obeying the Great Commandment and to declare the love of Jesus

by obeying the Great Commission!

We are to demonstrate the love of Jesus by obeying the Great Commandment found in Matthew 22:36-39.These verses say, “Master, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said unto him, “You should love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, you should love your neighbor as yourself.” Our complete love for God and others should be reflected in our worship, our ministries, our fellowship and should be demonstrated at all times within the church and out in the community. 

We are also to declare the love of Jesus by obeying the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20. “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All power is given to me in heaven and in earth. Go you therefore, and teach all

nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Out of love and obedience to Jesus, we should be reaching, baptizing, and teaching to the point that all members should be equipped to share their faith and minister effectively both in the church and in their daily activities.
